A one session class designed to prepare you for the childbirth experience. Topics covered include but are not limited to; discomforts of pregnancy, stages of labor, comfort measures for labor, hospital routines and medical procedures. This class also includes a tour of the Mother and Baby areas of the hospital and a one hour "on your own" lunch break.
This class is located in Lower Level Classroom 2. To locate this classroom you may park near the North Entrance of the hospital just past the ER on the left. Parking is avaiable in front of the North Entrance or beside it. Once you are in the building take the elevator or stairs to the Lower Level. The classroom is located right next to the snack machines.
You do not need to bring anything with you on the day of the class. However, you are welcome to bring something to make sitting more comfortable such as a pillow.
