Event Details

Author Marilyn Johnson invites you to discover free business resources and services at your library! Understand how your public library can help you start and grow a business.

Marilyn Johnson will point out how public libraries
      -  give small businesses a home
      -  assist with small business recovery
      -  promote technical expertise

Marilyn Johnson is the author of This Book Is Overdue! about librarians and archivists in the digital age, and The Dead Beat, about the art of obituaries and obituary writers. A former editor at Esquire and staff writer for Life Magazine, she is a tireless advocate for public libraries. As she says, “in tough times, a librarian is a terrible thing to waste.”  Marilyn resides in New York's Hudson Valley.
