YOUNG CHILD: Kindergarten Readiness: Ready or Not, Here I Come!
Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (PST)
Palo Alto, CA
Over the last twenty years, the expectations for incoming kindergarteners have increased dramatically. Once regarded as a place to learn your ABCs and classroom skills like sharing and waiting your turn, by today’s standards, many kindergarten settings expect your child to have reached a variety of academic and social milestones before entering kindergarten. This class will cover eight GET READY skills for kindergarten and provide you with a road map to prepare for the start of the school year.
At Children's Health Council, we believe there is a world of promise and potential in every child. Using a personalized approach, we help your children become happier, more resilient and more successful.
Our mission is to help children with ADHD, LD, Anxiety & Depression and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) thrive by promoting Social Emotional Learning, Academics, Executive Functioning and Physical Development.
