When & Where
UC Davis School of Law Young Alumni Association
The UC Davis School of Law Young Alumni Association was founded in 2013 by a volunteer committee of alumni in Southern California. It has recently expanded to Northern California and now operates across three major geographic regions: Los Angeles/Orange County areas, San Francisco Bay area, and Sacramento. Its core purpose is to create a robust community for King Hall’s young alumni – primarily by hosting quarterly social gatherings in each region that provide an opportunity for alumni to meet and re-connect. In addition to the social component, the Young Alumni Association also aims to (1) foster mentorship between experienced and recent alumni; (2) support the law school’s recruitment, outreach, and job placement efforts by introducing prospective and current students to the alumni family; and (3) enhance the visibility of the law school in each chapter’s geographic region.
