Description

SPEAKER MKT 340 - YOU ARE NEXT WITH QURAMI
Manolo Abrignani, Co-Founder at Qurami

Manolo Abrignani is co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer at Qurami, the first mobile time management platform. During his BA in International Business he founded “Chimp co.” (then named Studio Brutus), the most important interactive design studio in Italy focused on Adobe Flash action scripting and generative graphics.

He has a track record of business relations with many different figures such as prime ministers, international delegations, public and private investors and C-Level decision makers. Convinced that deal-making is as much about narration as negotiation, he attained a Certificate in Storytelling and Creative Writing at Scuola Holden in Turin, where today he leads the “Start-up Storytelling” course. He’s been a mentor of the Start-up Weekend circuit several times.

Qurami is the app that gives you back the time you waste queuing everyday, allowing you to get a ticket directly from your smartphone, or to choose when to go, even before arriving at the place. The app checks the queue status using real time updates, thus ensuring a remarkable time saving. The technology easily integrates with on-premise queue management systems.

NOTE: The JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship invites 20+ speakers into our classrooms per semester. Our speakers are typically young entrepreneurs who have already qualified for an acceleration program or for fund-raising, and they share their experience with our students in real time. In their presentations they describe the idea generation process, the main challenges and their key achievements, providing insights that enrich the learning that takes place in the classroom.
