Yin/Yang for Shelter Dogs and Beyond

A Presentation By Dr. Julie Servaites, DVM
Dr. Julie Servaites will come to AAF to make a special presentation that is sure to be both informative, fun and unique! Dr. Julie was trained as a "traditional vet" and went on to pursue additional training in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institue in Florida. In her presentation, Dr. Julie's will:
- use a Chinese medicine approach to understanding a dog's temperament or personality (and dsicuss what implications that might have for individuals working with dogs); and,
- describring how complementary veterinary therapies work in concert with your traditional veterinarian
Who Should Attend?: Anyone that works with or has an interest in dogs' optimal health and strengthening the bond between humans and dogs!
Note: This event is open to the public; advance registration is required as space is limited. A donation of a can of squeeze cheese (for making dog treats) or $3 cash is suggested.
