Harvest Fest Evanston

Please be our guest

Thursday, November 8

5:30 - 7:30 pm

Celebrate the harvest with Yellow Tractor, our Evanston Community Partner Organizations and the extended Yellow Tractor circle of supporters, project volunteers, friends and family. Share delicious dishes, prepared on location, incorporating the yield from 8 Yellow Tractor garden sites across Evanston. Sample delicious tastings, enjoy cocktails, dessert and live music from Pat McKillen.

Pat McKillen is a singer-songwriter out of the northwest suburbs of Chicago who brings a powerful voice to a contemporary folk sound. His sound and style have been compared to the likes of David Gray, Dave Matthews, and Neil Young.

Our host, Curt's Cafe, is a Community Partner site from the recently completed Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University Community Impact Day.

Let's celebrate sustainable change in Evanston!

Yellow Tractor

Yellow Tractor, LLC, is a social enterprise whose goal is a healthier nation physically, environmentally and economically. Yellow Tractor creates and facilitates widespread fruit and vegetable gardening as a solution to both urban and rural challenges with measurable outcomes: improved health, enriched education, increased food access, and integral job skills training.

Our non profit arm, Yellow Tractor Program advocates for sustainable growth by building vegetable and fruit gardens; clearing a path for food security, providing and creating a safe place for children to grow not only food, but themselves.
