We would like to invite you to participate in this event on
Tuesday, October 1, 2013
for a FREE Community Forum and Private Presidential Dinner.
The Ritz Carlton, Buckhead
3434 Peachtree Road N.E.
Atlanta, Georgia 30326 (USA)

Doors will open at 6:00PM 
FREE Forum will begin promptly at 7:00PM

We would like for you to participate by not only attending the event, but also by sending in questions for the president to answer. We are encouraging the entire Ghanaian Community to come and participate in the forum.

Before the forum we will be choosing the top questions to give directly to the president. The question categories are as follows:
Relocation To Ghana
Dual Citizenship

Email your questions to pro@ghanacouncilofgeorgia.org. We will choose the top questions by September 25, 2013.

About the Ghana Council of Georgia

The premise of the Ghana Council was inspired by a common determination to promote unity and cooperation among Ghanaians in Georgia. With a statewide focus and a keenness to make a local impact, we represent the diversity in the community by speaking with one national voice. The Ghana Council of Georgia is not only dedicated to the welfare of Ghanaians, but also to the progress of Ghana as a nation. It is our goal to provide a forum for free discussion of matters of national importance and build co-operation among Ghanaians to pull resources together for the good of the community.

Aims & Objectives

The aims and objectives of the Ghana Council of Georgia are to:

  1. Promote the general welfare and unity among Ghanaians in Georgia
  2. Foster a sense of national pride among Ghanaians and promote the Ghanaian culture
  3. Participate actively in Ghana National affairs
  4. Establish and maintain friendly relations with people and organizations of Georgia
  5. Promote better understanding and co-operation between Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians
  6. Honor and observe Ghana National days and the African Liberation Day
  7. Disseminate information on events of interest in Ghana and elsewhere to Ghanaians
  8. Develop fund raising mechanisms to support, promote and maintain the organization
  9. Set up agencies to promote social services to Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians as necessary
