Ye Olde Toronto Holiday Tech Social
Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 8:00 PM to 11:55 PM (EST)
"Ye Olde Toronto Holiday Tech Social"
At 8pm on Tuesday, December 4th, 2012, the funnest members of Toronto's tech community will gather under the banner of a single, unifying cause: to eat, drink, and be merry. Boys will bring pocket protectors, girls will bring "Let's Talk Nerdy" t-shirts; clearly, it shall be epic.
Johnny Jackson, a brand new joint in Little (Canadian) Italy, is opening up exclusively for our event, so if you happen to meet owner Rick Cowan - be sure to high five him.
$10 gets you a drink and appetizers (while they last). Space is limited, so get your tickets before they're gone!
Come out. Relax. Bring your party socks.

When & Where
HackerNest is a nonprofit focused on building supportive “Silicon Valley” type tech communities everywhere – strengthening local ecosystems through unpretentious social events and hackathons with the ultimate goal of making tech education more relevant and accessible.
We’ll be in a dozen cities in North America, Asia, and Australia by the close of 2013 with more international growth planned thereafter. Our annual hackathon series, HackerNest Construct, starts early in 2014 – the inaugural theme is ‘mind and motion’ – next generation brain computing, gesture based, and wearable interface devices. Our international Mensa SIG (Special Interest Group) will launch shortly. A peer-based ‘coders teaching coders’ education platform is coming soon. Tech Socials are held every month or two at local tech company offices.
