Yale Tech: Opening Reception for 2015 Conference

Yale Tech is hosting its second annual conference on Friday, April 24th. With the support of YaleWomen, Yale Alumni Nonprofit Association, Yale GALA, we are hosting an opening night reception to welcome conference attendees and all Yalies interested in tech.

This special event will take place the night before on Thursday, April 23rd. It is open to all members of the Yale community whether they're attending the conference or not. All conference attendees will get free admission to the reception.

With light bites and drinks, the reception will be a chance to meet people ahead of the conference. There will be some remarks shared by Victor Wong, Neha Bhaskar, and Clelia Warburg Peters on the experience of "Women and Minorities in Tech."

Victor Wong
Victor is the CEO of PaperG, a creative platform for digital advertising. He co-founded the 60-person company to make creating ads easy. Today, enterprises use PaperG to build, tailor, and test ads across devices, formats, and sizes. Its technology has been called by The New York Times as “An Ad Engine To Put Mad Men Out Of Business.”

Victor founded Yale Tech to help Yale entrepreneurs, techies, and investors share ideas, advice, contacts, and opportunities. He graduated from Yale University where he studied economics.

Neha Bhaskar
Neha Bhaskar has been in the technology for over for over a decade. She is currently at Microsoft leading channel strategy and execution for consumer app marketing. Neha previously served as Sr. Business and Ecosystem Marketing Manager as well as Senior Product Marketing Manager, Exchange, Microsoft Office Division. She has won numerous distinctions within Microsoft including the Microsoft Circle of Excellence Gold Club Award, Microsoft Key Talent awards, and Microsoft Gold Star. Neha graduated from Yale School of Management in 2009 and holds a B.E. from the Cummins College of Engineering for Women.

Clelia Warburg Peters
Clelia Warburg Peters is Director of Strategy, Brand and Innovation at Warburg Realty, where she manages the strategic operations of the firm, oversees the corporate brand and pursues new and innovative opportunities in the residential real estate market.

Prior to joining the Management Team at Warburg in 2014, Clelia spent years working with the Boston Consulting Group and worked in partnership with noted businesswoman Sallie Krawcheck to develop an early stage technology company focused on flexible work opportunities for women.

Clelia holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Literature with distinction from Yale University.
