Event Details

Join us at XSITE 2010 and you'll experience a full day of learning, stimulation, debate, networking, and inspiration of the kind only Xconomy can provide.

"Building the next economy" is our theme because it is also the obsession of so many of the innovators and entrepreneurs we cover every day at Xconomy. Whether they're in pharmaceuticals or robotics, mobile computing or energy efficiency, New England's high-tech startups and anchor companies are inventing the products and services that will define the new decade's leaner, greener, more connected economy.

We'll celebrate those efforts at XSITE 2010 through keynote talks by X Prize Foundation chairman and CEO Peter Diamandis and Alkermes chairman and CEO Richard Pops, as well as "Innovator Profile" presentations from leaders like Rod Brooks, whose Heartland Robotics is reimagining the way factory workers do their jobs. But we'll also examine the state of the all-important capital markets, the realities of the startup life cycle, and the obstacles entrepreneurs must overcome to succeed in frontier fields like wireless health services and smart grid technologies.

You’ll meet some of the region's leading CEOs, entrepreneurs, inventors, and investors. As in 2009, we'll cap off the day with the XSITE Xpo, featuring rapid-fire presentations by life sciences, energy, and infotech companies with provocative business ideas. You, the audience, will judge their prospects.
