How does an organization build a reliable source of income that can help with cash flow? Sustainable giving! Simple and effective, a sustainable giving program helps donors give larger donations in a manageable way, while providing your organization with a reliable source of monthly income. This workshop-style presentation will explore different tools and ideas to build your sustainable giving program. Please come prepared to share any sustainable giving program successes you've had.
Kim Silva, the Executive Director of Friends of Outdoor School has been raising money since she was a 6 year old Blue Bird hocking Camp Fire candy to her neighbors. A refugee from the insurance and finance world, she began her paid development gig hosting fabulous parties late into the night at Portland Center Stage. Being a morning person, Kim hung up her dancing shoes to lead the development programs for Friends of Trees, then Hoyt Arboretum. Kim is a CFRE, has a Master’s in Public Administration from Portland State University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.
