• Dawniel Patterson Winningham is a national thought leader on women's empowerment through self improvement. "I believe that in order for women to truly be empowered, they must first change their environment, their thought process, and then themselves."
  
  As an executive coach for a Fortune 100 firm and national speaker Dawniel is now using books to continue to empower 1000's of individuals to take charge and to meet their goals head on. Her positive "can-do" attitude is an inspiration to those around her.
  
  She is the mother of 3 teens, loves to cook, and claims her first love was books. She is in the process of writing her 7th book, Million Dollar YOU, and is actively engaged in many community activities that benefit women of all ages and children.
  
  Dawniel has won several national and local awards including Alive Magazine Creative Entrepreneur of the year 2012, Golden Apple Award from National Association of Women Achievers 2012, a Golden Mic award from Positive Strong Black Entrepreneurs 2013. She was nominated for national association of women business owners, woman of the year award 2012. She has also been nominated for a Yahoo! Shine award 2012 as well as a Lady Godiva Community Leader Award 2012.   She has been presented with 2 Presidential Achievement commendations from both George W Bush (2005) and Barack Obama (2012) for her work in the community. She serves on the board of directors for Dove Ministries and works monthly on several community initiatives that support national neighborhoods.
  
  As the founder of National Day of Sisterhood she believes that women should work TOGETHER and that in doing so we will change the face of this great nation. NDOS is celebrated each year on 12/12 and in 2012 she received a proclamation from Mayor Anise Parker in Houston proclaiming 12/12 National Day of Sisterhood in the city.
