This intensive workshop will teach you how to use creative tools and exercises that will help you master the craft of writing for the stage. Workshop includes opportunities for discussions of each participant's work-in-progress as well as opportunities to hear your work read out loud.
Creative tools and exercises include learning about structure, character development, dramatic intention, conflict, motive, climax and resolution. Each writer will get to hear his or her work read in class several times, allowing the playwright and class to experience the play's active development.
