About this event

The Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College is providing an exclusive in-person opportunity to join like-minded entrepreneurial alumni for an interactive workshop with a notable alum in the Seattle, WA area. There will be networking time before and after the programmed portion of the evening.

How do you design and lead conversations in everyday work?

We know what it's like to be in an engaging, informative, and generative conversation--and yet, when running work meetings, we often don't tap into that understanding. This results in people being unclear on why they were invited, how to meaningfully contribute during the meeting, or next steps post-meeting. Thus, poorly planned meetings aren't just potential time vacuums, they can also undermine the healthy culture you're aiming to build.

Come to this session to learn and workshop a simple framework you can use to elevate the quality of your everyday work conversations for greater impact and a more resilient team and organizational culture.

Meet Kashay Sanders, D’11.

Kashay hails from New York City and received her B.A. in Women's & Gender Studies. Her career began in the social sector and included developing programming at a social enterprise focused on girls' empowerment in India, coaching and training low-income job seekers in NYC, and building learning experiences at a nonprofit aiming to end homelessness.

After receiving an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, she pivoted into HR with a focus on learning & development. Now, at Microsoft, her remit is to revamp and better coordinate new hire onboarding efforts globally. While these experiences are diverse, all of them are united by her foundational passion around learning and curriculum development, facilitation, and team dynamics. Kashay is working to start a business focused on facilitation education.
