Our inaugural event will feature Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress & founder & CEO of Automattic, discussing the amazing journey of WordPress from a home-spun blogging tool to the world’s most successful enterprise content management platform. With more than 20% of the Websites on Earth now using WordPress, governments & large enterprises are embracing it like never before. Now is your chance to ask Matt himself what's new & what the near future will bring!

In addition, Andrew Nacin, Lead Developer of WordPress, Philip AshlockVictor Zapanta, who contributed to the tremendously successful re-launch of will tell us what they have been up to.

Now that open-source Web technologies have decisively taken the high ground in the race for online mindshare & marketshare. The next wave of innovation will focus on ease-of-use, democratizing access, lowering costs & a greater focus on content rather than complexity. Come learn how WordPress is meeting these challenges in ways that even seasoned users might not yet be aware of.

This is a private, limited-capacity event exclusively for Federal policymakers, technologists & designers that code.

We look forward to seeing you there!
