Health psychologist and Stanford University lecturer Dr. Kelly McGonigal understands willpower, and her work helps families improve habits, cure procrastination, find focus, and manage stress. She shares cutting-edge research into the neurodevelopment of adolescents, along with valuable strategies or "willpower boosts" to give parents tools to conquer common self-discipline challenges and establish an effective model for improving self-control in children.
Kelly McGonigal is the author of The Neuroscience of Change; The Willpower Instinct: How Self-Control Works, Why It Matters, and What You Can Do to Get More of It; and Yoga for Pain Relief. McGonigal received a Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University.
