Women's MTB Clinic and Ride

Learn skills from Lisa Uranga, our local Pro Mountain Biker! The skills clinic is suited for riders of all levels; beginners through expert. Topics will include - Overcoming Obstacles and Using Momentum as a Primary Strategy.
Group rides according to levels will follow the clinic.
This clinic is FREE and will include: Raffle items (bike tools, etc), FREE T-shirt to first 10 registered, DEMO bikes from Giant, and FREE mechanical support, all from Cadence Cyclery!
Things to Bring: Please bring helmet (required), Bike, water, snacks and lunch.
9:30 - 10:00AM - sign in/register
10:00 - 11:00 - Skills Session I - Using Momentum as a Primary Strategy
11:00 - 11:15 - Divide into skill levels; Find practice station
11:15 - 12:15 - Momentum Skills Practice and Instruction
12:15-12:45- Lunch break (since this is a FREE event, we ask that you bring your own lunch).
12:45 - 1:45 - Session II - Overcoming Obstacles
1:45 - 2:15 - Obstacle Skills Practice and Instruction
2:15 - 2:30 - Raffle, Q&A
2:30 - 4:00 - Group ride - no drop ride, divided into riding levels - Newbie, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Rockin'!
4:00 - Sign out. Go home tired, jazzed, and happy! You'll have discovered new friends and skills! :-)
- This is a USA Cycling sanctioned event.
- This event is sponsored, in part, by Cadence Cyclery. There will be raffled items including bike tools. Cadence Cyclery will also have LivGiant Demo bikes (women specific), and FREE mechanical support.
