Arrive early (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM) for a chance to tour the museum, mingle with guests and enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres.  The program will begin at 6:15 pm.

  • Lisa Yarrow - Director for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Women’s Summit at UNC Charlotte
  • Ann Clark - Chief Academic Officer with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools
  • KIPP Charlotte Honors Chorus

Mecklenburg County Women's Advisory Board

The mission of the Womens Advisory Board is to identify periodically the status of women in Mecklenburg County; to recommend ways to work toward the betterment of the status of women in education, employment, family, community, health, law, finance, and social services; to work collaboratively with other organizations; and to provide community leadership opportunities by initiating and promoting programs designed to serve the needs of women.
