Scaling Social Products at Facebook 
Start-up Weekend, in partnership with Facebook, is excited to announce the Building Social Products at Scale event that will take place at Ciklum's Head OfficeThe event will take place on Thursday, the 28th of February from 19.00-21.30. This unique event will feature a panel of Facebook engineers who will discuss what it's like to scale social products for an audience of over 1 billion people. The event is focused on bringing together women working in the Ukraine tech scene and will provide a special opportunity to speak with several of Facebook's engineers and engineering managers directly, as well as network with each other.

Goranka Bjedov is the Capacity Engineer for Infrastructure at Facebook where she focuses on performance and capacity of production services. Prior to starting at Facebook, Goranka was a Performance Engineer at Google. She previously worked as reliability engineer at NetApp, the company that specializes in network attached storage, and was a performance engineering manager at AT&T Labs. Goranka holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Clarkson University and is a tenured faculty at Purdue University.
Kari Lee is an Engineering Manager for Search at Facebook where she focuses on the product and grammar aspects of Graph Search. Prior to transitioning into management, she was a software engineer working on various search infrastructure and front-end projects. She previously interned at Google and Microsoft. Kari holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Stanford University.
Mary Pimenova is a Software Engineer at Facebook where she focuses on privacy infrastructure. Prior to working on privacy, Mary worked on site performance and efficiency at Facebook.  Mary holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Washington.
