Event Details

Join Chicago NOW as we honor local sheroes!  Each year CNOW recognizes two women making a positive impact on the lives of women and girls in the city.  This year we salute Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle and Teatro Luna, Chicago's first and only pan-Latina theatre company.  We hope you can be with us to celebrate the important work each honoree is engaged in!

Refreshments included. Don't forget our silent auction!

Your continued support for our organization and the women of Chicago is greatly appreciated. We cannot do this work without all of you!  Please contact us at with any questions.

Chicago NOW

Chicago NOW is an all-volunteer chapter, sustained solely by contributions from its members and supporters. For decades, Chicago NOW has been an integral part of the city’s feminist community – organizing local actions, educating the community, providing referrals, and garnering resources to support sister organizations providing direct service.  Over the past year, we have partnered with a number of sister organizations to address the social, economic, and political disparities experienced by women and girls everyday.  For example, in response to this year’s especially hostile political climate surrounding issues of women’s sexual health, we hosted Give Your Choice a Voice to provide a safe space for sharing about the important role of reproductive freedom in all of our lives.  With your support, we will continue to push for economic equality, reproductive choice & women’s health, stopping violence against women, and LGBTQ rights.
