Women Making a Change after Domestic Violence is an open dialog to promote healing and understanding of domestic violence from women who are survivors. Hear the stories of survivors as we discuss the causes, theories, and solutions from Dr. Kim Anderson PhD., author of "Enhancing Resilience in Survivors of Family Violence".
This is a great opportunity to join us for lunch and support our efforts to build Virginia's House, a safe transitional housing facility. Raffle gifts by TOMS, the organization that gives shoes to children in need, Toyota in Oak Lawn, Dana Hotel and Farmers Insurance.
Safe transitional housing is extremely important to families that are leaving emergency shelters and violent homes. The building of Virginia's House depends on support from you, our community and corporations. In addition to attending this function there are other ways you can help through volunteering or donating through our website.
I hope you will be able to join us for an afternoon of sharing, healing and solutions.
$5.00 Raffle tickets will be sold at the event
