Last year we recognized a significant hole in the wine industry networking landscape and are took the opportunity to fill it with the Women In Wine Production Networking Group. We hosted the first event in December and were met with overwhelming positive responses from both the women in attendance and those of you who could not attend, but requested that we host another event soon!
We've tried out Women for WineSense, the various growers/vintners/AVA organizations, we currently frequent the Farm Bureau's Young Farmers & Ranchers group. Each group has left us back at the bar, strategizing on our own, thinking that there must be other young women in this industry - like us - who could benefit from being a part of a group that deals with the same issues we do.
Focused on bringing together young women making their way through the vineyards, labs, cellars, and bottling lines we intend to offer a set time and varied location to network, share ideas, and solve problems.

Between 4 - 7 p.m.
1040 Clinton Street, Napa
for Uva's weekly bar and lounge special - Burger, Fries & a Pint for $10. Uva has graciously offered to open any bottle of wine you bring to share with the group with NO corkage fee.
Plan to meet other women in the industry who are contributing to making great wine in a casual meet n' greet atmosphere. There is no set format for these initial events, we only intend to get to know one another. Later on we are interested in putting together a format that suits everyone's needs in the group.
We invite you to share this invitation and group with other women in the wine industry who are working in production. We have much respect for those who market, sell, distribute, and blog wine - but at the moment the group is focused on women who work in wine production.
A special THANK YOU to Aaron Diaz, proprietor of Uva and Rosa Rodriguez, banquet manager of Uva for hosting the space for this event.
Looking forward to seeing all of you!
