Event Details

Growing out of a small-town school event in California, Women's History Month is a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture and society. The United States has observed it annually throughout the month of March since 1987.

The 2013 National Women’s History Month theme, Women Inspiring Innovation through Imagination, honors generations of women who throughout American history have used their intelligence, imagination, sense of wonder, and tenacity to make extraordinary contributions to the STEM fields.

Join the NAPW Lithonia Chapter as we celebrate Women in History Month with Senior Citizens in our community.  We will host an Easter Activity & Party at Traditions Health & Rehabilitation Center (next to McDonald's) located at 2816 Evans Mill Road, Lithonia, GA  30058, phone 770-428-2961 from 2PM to 4PM on Saturday, March 30th, 2013.

Share your time and talents as we bring some cheer to the residents at Traditions.  We will serve Easter goodies and punch as we participate in a few fun activities and games!

We look forward to seeing you at Traditions on Saturday, March 30th, 2013!

(Note:  We will meet in the lobby at 1:45PM).

Thank you for your continued support!
