Women Entrepreneurs Global Connect, Expo & Summit 2013
Women entrepreneurs are going global. It is a trend we want to nurture and build with the 2013 debut of Women Entrepreneurs Global Connect, Expo & Summit 2013, a place where women can enrich individual talents and core business strengths. Hear experts address key global business concerns for women today, showcase your own business, meet representatives from large global corporations or just mingle with like-minded women seeking to grow their businesses too.
The summit features comprehensive training opportunities and forums focused on topics to support women-owned businesses. Both the Expo and informal meetings will provide a venue for women to showcase their businesses to national and international audiences. We anticipate participants from the USA, Canada, India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Mexico, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Middle East and more.
Astra Women's Business Alliance (Astra), a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and regional partner of WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council), developed this forum to increase awareness of global trade, regulations and best practices among women business owners as an outgrowth of its Global Initiative Plug In Power Up program in concert with its WBENC National Certification Program for women.
