The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta is the largest estuary on the west coast of the Americas and should be regarded as a national treasure. Over Troubled Waters presents the story of the draining of the delta and its repercussions, through interviews with farmers, fishermen, recreational users, and the people who maintain its levees. The Mono Lake Story takes a close look at what happened when Los Angeles began draining the Lake's tributary systems to meet our needs 350 miles away, and how communities formed to wage an epic battle to protect the Lake's ecosystem.
