Charlie Moger is a Wizard Of Ads Group partner based in Houston, TX. He is flying in to share his presentation Weapons Of Mass Seduction where he compares the process of persuasion in marketing to the things he learned as re-entered the dating pool a few years ago. This presentation brought down the house at South-By-Southwest in Austin back in March, and Charlie is excited to be presenting it in the shadow of The Arch in St. Louis on May 16th.
Steve Rae was among the original 12 Wizard Of Ads partners to form a satellite office when the group was formed over 10 years ago. Steve will be giving two presentations in St. Louis, including The Six Things Every Business Owner Should Know About Marketing That Marketing People Won't Tell Them (Until Now). Steve owned two radio stations in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario before selling them and focusing his efforts full-time on helping make entrepreneurs' dreams come true.
Tim Miles recently wowed the TED community with his presentation For All Your Special Needs at the TEDxMizzou conference in Columbia. The presentation explores what his son - with a communications disorder - has taught Tim - a communications professional - about communication. As TED conferences require that all keynotes are no longer than 18 minutes, Tim is expanding the presentation to its unedited 30 minute length. Additionally, Tim will team up with Steve Rae to share some of their top client success stories, while pulling back the curtain to expose the strategies that made them work.
One of our resident experts for web conversion and social media, Paul Boomer will be presenting two key modules in the program: (1) the aforementioned presentation on the things you should and should not focus on with social media; and (2) Paul's famous "hot seat" web critiques that have been done across the country to rave reviews.
And finally, Wizard Of Ads Group partners Ryan Patrick and Mike Slover will tag-team the core Wizard Of Ads presentation The 12 Most Common Mistakes In Advertising: What Works, What Doesn't and Why! This presentation was wowed literally tens of thousands of attendees since its original inception. The Wizard Of Ads Group is a fraternity of marketing and advertising speakers, writers and consultants whose mission is to help owner-operated business grow top line sales exponentially.
The group was founded by Roy H. Williams as an extension of his legendary personal practice following the success of his trilogy of best-selling business books bearing the same name in the late 1990s.
This roadshow event is hosted and curated by Wizard Of Ads Group partner Ray Seggern, who was hired by Williams in 2004 as a client consultant at the home office, one of two consultants looking after the day-to-day needs of Williams' own personal clients.
Seggern has been a partner in The Wizard Of Ads Group since 2006 and has been producing and hosting events across the US, Canada and Latin America since 2007.
