Event Details

Over the next two years Jens Hoffmann, Deputy Director, Exhibitions and Public Programs, interviews the subjects of Andy Warhol’s Ten Portraits of Jews of the Twentieth Century (1980): Sarah Bernhardt, Louis Brandeis, Martin Buber, Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, George Gershwin, Franz Kafka, The Marx Brothers, Golda Meir, and Gertrude Stein.

Participate in an unusual evening of discussion between Jens Hoffmann and Dr. Sigmund Freud, represented by Michael Roth, President of Wesleyan University and author of six books including Memory, Trauma and History: Essays on Living with the Past (2011). Roth curated the 1998 exhibition Freud: Conflict and Culture at the Library of Congress and edited a collected volume of essays on Freud, published under the same title.

This program is free with Pay-What-You-Wish-Admission. Seating is first-come, first-served.
