Wire Fandango 2013
Established in 1718, New Orleans is the Queen city of the Gulf Coast. She’s full of history, intrigue, mystery and romance. The home ofpirates and scoundrels, the site of heroism and magic, New Orleans has drawn adventurers, seekers, saints and sinners from all parts of the world. Her streets are teeming with the ghosts of the people who made her and each generation adds to the mix. Come to New Orleans with me, Annette Kinslow, and my Wire Fandango gang. I promise you an experience like no other. I've designed the jewelry projects especially for this event and there's no other like it.
Wire Fandango is limited to 14 people-so sign up today!
A few things you can choose to do or see:
Cost of the event: $800
What you get for that fee:
As I mentioned above, we have arranged a discount rate at The Hotel St. Marie if you tell them you’re part of Wire Fandango. The cost is $96.05 per night—and that includes the hotel tax and two beds in your room. So bring a friend to the event and save a little more money.
Also, if you have friends or relatives who just want to come to New Orleans during this time, they can get the same deal on the hotel. The cost for a spouse or friend to come with you but is $290. and that includes breakfast, lunch and wine & cheese social.
When & Where
Annette Kinslow with Kinslow Art
is a lifelong artist and has worked in a number of media including quilting, spinning, weaving, and designing art clothing before developing her skills as a wire artist. Her students walk out of class with finished pieces of beautiful jewelry, a lot of knowledge, and a great attitude and felling of accomplishment. Kinslow has been teaching beading and wire wrapping for over 12 years and has been teaching dichroic glass fusing techniques for five years. Wire Fandango, New Orleans will be Kinslow's fifth such event after producing two in San Antonio, Texas, and one each in Savannah, Georgia and Fredericksburg, Texas. Annette's message in class is "There's no such thing as 'can't'" and she lives that motto every day. She calls it developing your personal power by finding the artist within yourself.
