11th Annual Golf Tournament

Winters Healthcare Foundation's golf tournament was created ten years ago to raise funds and awareness for the Winters Healthcare Foundation (WHF). The 2013 tournament marks the 11th annual fundraiser for WHF and is the only fundraiser hosted throughout the year.
WHF is a Federally Qualified Health Center, non-profit organization. The foundation provides prenatal, pediatric, family practice, behavioral health and dental care in the Western Yolo and Northern Solano counties.
This year’s tournament will consist of a four person scramble with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. and will last 5-6 hours. Registration for all participants will begin at 7:30 am at the Yocha Dehe Golf Club. A grab-and-go breakfast will be provided for all golfers to enjoy before their round of 18 holes begins. A fabulous banquet luncheon, awards ceremony and auction will follow the tournament in the golf clubhouse.

In 2012 we provided nearly $400,000 in charity care and provided direct medical, dental or prenatal visits to more than 3,000 individuals throughout the service area. Approximately 77% of the patients seen are from Winters and of those patients, upwards of 30% are migrant or seasonal farm workers and their families. Care for patients with an inability to pay is never denied at Winters Healthcare. Not only do we provide care for those without insurance but we accept the majority of insurance plans available and help patients gain health insurance by appointing them to our certified application assistant. We are a comprehensive, community-based system of health care that responds to local and regional needs and aims to provide exceptional, compassionate care for Winters and the surrounding community.

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE- $150 per person includes green fees, range balls, shared cart, gift bag, breakfast, on course refreshments, awards ceremony, banquet luncheon, and auction.
Not a golfer? You can still participate!
Donate by purchasing a banquet luncheon ticket for $40 per person. This ticket gains access to the banquet luncheon, awards ceremony, the auction, a beautiful day on the Yocha Dehe grounds, and the satisfaction of supporting Winters community health.

The last day to register as a golfer (individual or foursome group) is Friday May 10, 2013. Extra dinner tickets are limited and will be sold up until Tuesday May 14th, 2013.

A friendly reminder to our golfers:
Once you arrive at Cache Creek Casino Resort, please pass the casino and take a right at the Cache Creek Mini Mart. Follow the GOLF COURSE signs down to the golf club, 1.1 miles away from the casino. If you are staying at the casino, complimentary shuttle service is available.

From the Bay Area:
Take Interstate 80 East to Interstate 505 North. Go approximately 20 miles, exit on Highway 16/Esparto, turn left at the light. Follow Highway 16 through Esparto, Capay and on to Cache Creek Casino Resort.
Take Interstate 5 North through Woodland to the Esparto/Highway 16 exit. Turn left, then travel three miles to second stoplight. Turn right onto Highway 16, follow through the towns of Esparto and Capay and on to Cache Creek Casino Resort.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is no age limit! Come and enjoy a beautiful day with Winters Healthcare Foundation!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Yocha Dehe Golf Club has a golf bag drop-off with a parking lot near the front entrance of the golf club. There is also extra parking at the Cache Creek Casino Resort with shuttles available.
Are there golf clubs on site that I can rent?
Rental Golf Clubs at Yocha Dehe golf course are $40 per set. Yocha Dehe offers Callway RAZR irons and woods along with a Odyssey White Hot Putter rental sets. All sets include a valuables pouch with three Yocha Dehe Golf Club logoed golf balls. Available for men in steel and graphite, right handed women, and left handed men.
