Event Details

Saturday, November 23 from 9:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Join Betty Nowak in creating these festive potholders, great for hostess gifts, holiday baking, and the spreading of good cheer!

This workshop is designed for those who are comfortable with rotary-cutting and machine-sewing quarter-inch seams. Participants will learn paper piecing, squaring up, simple machine-quilting, and machine-binding. This is a great way to learn and apply quilt-making basics AND create a finished product in a short time frame.

Bring your own machine or sign up early to rent one of four shop machines.

Patterns for three different paper-pieced trees are included in the instruction fee. Participants will need to purchase/provide scraps, a few fat quarters, two spools of coordinating thread, and heat resistant batting in addition to the workshop fee. All supplies are available at Sew Memphis at a 10% class discount.
