San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Please join us for the 18th annual Texas Adopt-A-Beach Winter Texan Cleanup on Friday, February 7, 2014.
This event is open to Winter Texans and anyone else who would like to lend a hand to clean our shores. Participants will enjoy refreshments during registration and take part in preserving Texas beaches.
The Texas Adopt-A-Beach program is an all-volunteer effort to remove debris from our beaches and coastal waters, to increase public awareness of beach litter, and to help make our beaches clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. During the past 27 years, the Adopt-A-Beach program has recruited more than 458,000 volunteers to participate in beach cleanups twice a year, every year. Since 1986, these volunteers have removed more than 8,700 tons of trash from our Texas beaches.
