UNIVERSITY OF ROCK WINTER ROCK CAMP
FORM A BAND. LEARN KILLER SONGS. PERFORM A ROCKSHOW!
Our 4 day intensive winter rock camp is designed to ACCELERATE/MAXIMIZE our students learning curve by combining private/group lessons with top notch coaching in playing with a live band, songwriting, music theory and more. The main focus of the camp is to introduce students to playing in a band setting where they are able to develop their stage skills as well as their confidence in playing with other musicians. It is said that playing in a band situation is one of the fastest ways to speed up the learning process.
In addition to students honing their performance and ensemble skills in a fun and creative environment, each student will perform a LIVE rock show for friends and family the last day of camp!
Our winter camps run for 4 consecutive days from 10am to 4pm and are held in fully-equipped studio rooms with guitar and bass amps, microphones, a PA system, and drum kit. Open to ages 7-18 (all skill levels welcome).
*Each student will get his/her own custom UROCK Winter Camp binder with pens, pencils, sheet music, and class handouts.
