How important are relationships in the workplace? We say that there's little that's more important to a nonprofit and community than the relationships that make them up.Strong relationships can lead to more money, better programs, more job satisfaction, and provide models for communities that often struggle with conflict. Join us for some wine, dinner, and great convo as we continue our path to building stronger communities by increasing the effectiveness and productivity of non-profits.
On June 17, 2014, the focus will be on creating a strong, financially sustainable nonprofit by building stronger internal teams as we present our workshop "Great Relationships, great communities" : The Building Blocks to a Cohesive Team”. Together we will discuss the importance of inner office relationships and ways to strengthen the relationship in order to build better programming, raise more funds, and strengthen community.
Wine, Dine and (L)earn offers a unique mix of nonprofit managers, founders, executive directors, board members, and local business and community leaders together to network and share their perspectives and work toward building a better Chicago!
Please RSVP below and share this with your colleagues as we enjoy food, wine, and innovative ways of building your organization to work effectively together.

Become, Inc and the GAGDC
About Become, Inc
Our mission is to help communities reach their potential by amplifying the impact of resources (e.g., nonprofits, schools, faith-based institutions). We do this through training, education, coalition building, and Dynamic Evaluation. We work to inspire community involvement on all levels. We are committed to creating thriving communities for a socially just world.
We are not only an organization but we are also a partner, visionary, and catalyst. We come together with communities that are marginalized and organizations to create the reality that they want and need. We see the flaws in the systems that exist today but also the value inherent within each person, group, organization, community, and society. We invoke those strengths and assets to build or realize something greater until we achieve social justice, thriving people, and ultimately thriving communities.
About the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation
GAGDC fosters and promotes the revitalization of the community by designing and implementing programs that improve the community’s economic viability; increase availability of quality housing to people of different income levels, while maintaining and improving existing affordable housing; and enhance delivery of social services, particularly to youth and senior citizens.
