Ticket Information

Ticket Type Sales End Price Fee Quantity
$45 Haitian Ceramic Filter
Your contribution of $45 covers the cost of the Haitian Ceramic Filter. Ceramic Water Filters are an inexpensive and effective type of water filter that relies on the small pore size of ceramic material to filter up to 99.9% of organic contaminants. Each filter is made locally from clay, sawdust, and colloidal silver, a naturally occurring antibacterial. The filter fits inside a 5 gallon bucket with a tap, providing clean water at the household level. *($45 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law for this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)
Ended $45.00 $3.47
$50 Rainwater Harvest Tank
Your contribution of $50 would help fund a Ugandan Rainwater Harvest Tank. This system uses gutters to channel rainwater from larger structures, into a protected tank. Each 1,500 liter tank is built on site using specialized “green” bricks, made by compressing a mixture of murram soil and small amounts of concrete. It is reinforced with wire and plaster for safe and convenient water access. *($50 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law for this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)
Ended $50.00 $3.74
$65 Sawyer Filter
Your donation of $65 covers the cost of one Sawyer Filter. Derived from kidney dialysis technology, this portable, lightweight, small micro fiber filter is extremely effective and capable of cleaning over 250 gallons of water per day. This filter has been used in Syria, Uganda, Haiti, and the Philippines for disaster response and emergency relief. *($65 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law for this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)
Ended $65.00 $4.57
$100 E. African Bio Filter
Your Contribution of $100 covers the cost of a East African Bio Sand Filter. Locally made from concrete, gravel, and media sand, this filter uses a slow sand filtration process to remove pathogens and suspended solids through biological and physical processes. This process is a multi-barrier approach to filtering water through predation, mechanical trapping, absorption, and natural death of harmful pathogens. (Pathogens: microorganisms in water that make us sick; Suspended solids: dirt/turbidity) *($100 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law for this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)
Ended $100.00 $6.49
$150 Suggested Donation
Your donation of $150 or more would help fund a Colombian Well. In remote areas of Colombia, there are thousands of jungle villages along the Amazon river where water-borne illnesses run rampant. In order to reach these remote locations, we transport a compact drilling machine by canoe. Well drilling is done on protected ground where clean water is safe from periodic river flooding. *($150 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law for this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)

Doc Hendley is the founder and international president of Wine To Water; a 501(c)(3) international aid organization focused on providing clean water to people in need around the world.

In 2003, Doc dreamed up the concept of the organization while bartending and playing music in nightclubs around Raleigh, North Carolina. The first fundraiser was held in January of 2004, and by August of that year Doc was living in Darfur, Sudan installing water systems for victims of the government supported genocide. When he returned home in August of 2005, the haunting memories of what he had seen in Darfur drove Doc to continue building the organization he started two years earlier.

Since 2004, Wine to Water has provided over 250,000 people with clean water, installed over five-hundred wells, and distributed over 25,000 filters. There is no life without water.
