Wimlink Event: How to Get Your Worth in the Work Place
Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
The verdict is in: it's not enough to just be great at your job - the world is not a meritocracy.
Sure, eventually you may be promoted, but what about now? How do you step into the driver's seat and start consciously planning your career and negotiating for what you want?
Women who successfully master the art of negotiating earn more money and are more successful in their careers.
In this informal session, we will hear from three women who will share their own personal experience of how they got what they want in the workspace (money, title, or a pearl-colored Audi convertible), with plenty of time for questions and discussion of specific examples from attendees.
Whether you are starting a job search, a new job, or salary negotiation, this session will provide you with tips, inspiration, and guidance to take your career to the next level. Come early for wine and snacks.
