Each session will begin with a brief lecture-style presentation on a different Shakespeare play covering plot, themes, poetic and dramatic devices, cultural context, performance history, etc. Then the group will read a scene (or two) out loud, followed by a viewing of a movie version of the scene(s) and a guided discussion. If time allows, more scenes may be read, viewed, and discussed.
