The Wilder Conference, named for Robert Wilder of the Student Volunteer Mission Movement, is a two-day gathering for college students and young adults for worship, teaching, and prayer.
Over 100 years ago, God raised up the Student Volunteer Movement out of North America and Europe. The movement touched the ends of the earth as over 20,000 young adults, Wilder among them, committed themselves to “the evangelization of the world in this generation” (John Mott). These young adults gave up comfortable lives and the “American dream” to wholly abandon themselves to the purposes of God in their generation.
We believe the Lord is once again raising up a movement of young adults and students who are committed to unrelenting prayer and courageous missions work with the Moravian vision "that the Lamb who was slain may receive the reward of His suffering." The goal of the Wilder Conference is to equip a new generation of leaders to finish the task of world evangelization (Mt. 24:14), to disciple the nations (Mt. 28:19–20), and to pray for the return of the King (Ps. 2:6; 1 Thes. 4:16).
Friday night and Saturday morning will be dedicated to worship, teaching, and ministry time. The conference will culminate on Saturday with an eight-hour solemn assembly (Joel 2:12–17) of prayer for revival in America and a new Student Volunteer Movement.
