Wikis, Blogs, and Journals as Student Engagement Tools

In this session you will learn how to create wikis, blogs and journals and use them as a tool to increase student-student interaction.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Create a wiki, blog and journal
  • Apply settings to help manage interactions
  • Identify appropriate uses of each tool
  • Create a rubric and determine assessment methods for student contributions
  • Manage activity in an efficient and effective manner
