Event Details

"Why Plants Fail - Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" is the Saturday in the Garden program for the month of June.  The speaker series program will be presented by veteran Lake County Master Gardener Jeanette Hanst.  The 2 hour long program will begin at 10 AM and will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension, Lake County office also known as the Agricultural Center, 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares. 

Following the class, please explore Discovery Gardens our 3.5 acre gardens located next to the Ag Center.   The gardens will be open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on June 7th and every first Saturday of the month.  You may enjoy the gardens without attending the class.  Picnics are encouraged.

The fee for the class is $5.00 for adults and free for children under 16.  Entrance to Discovery is free.
