Event Details

This event is part of the PJC's Spring 2014 lecture series.

A group of leftwing secular Jewish intellectuals who fled their native Vienna before WWII, became refugees, and fought with the Allied forces decided to return to Vienna after the war, believing they could help rebuild their country as a place where it could never happen again. Professor Deborah Tannen will interview Georgetown's Royden B. Davis, S.J. Chair Professor Ruth Wodak and Georg Schoenfeld whose parents were members of that group.
