Fall DESIS + Service Design Network NYC
Lecture Series Part 2

Panel Discussion: "Why do services need to be designed?"

It's a tough question -- but it's one that service design students and practitioners need to be able to answer.  Service design is a process that requires organizations to commit time and resources, and to accept risk, uncertainty, and the promise (threat?) of change; so how do we make the argument that the value gained though service design is worth the trouble?

Panelists:

Rajesh Bilimoria, Vice President at Continuum

Melissa Dalrymple, Innovation Consultant at Doblin

Lynn Teo, Chief Experience Officer, McCann Erickson

Moderator:

Marshall Sitten, Flashing12 and the Service Design Network NYC Chapter
