Event Details

Calling all kids and families to join us for a fun fall volunteer project at the Spring Creek Elementary School Garden.

Whole Foods Market Santa Rosa is excited to be teaming up with Garden Coordinators - Carole Geier & Rita Costello and Spring Creek Elementary School to help tend to the school garden. We will be rolling up our sleeves and helping to prep the garden for winter.  This is a family-friendly, 2-hour project with tasks for everyone ages 2 and up!

Below please find a volunteer job description and a list of items that would be extremely helpful for you to bring and if you have extra of these items available bring those, too, as not everyone will be able to bring their own. It is our goal to make the project fun and functional, kid-friendly and kind to the planet as well as uplifting of not only weeds but your spirit!

Also, Whole Foods Market will be providing a memorable build-your-own salad bar for kids and grown-ups, plus all the fixings.  Join us in modeling the fun of "eating the rainbow" in honor of the Whole Kids Foundation

To help raise funds for the Whole Kids Foundation in support of other local school garden projects, we will also have a raffle for some wonderful prizes.  All volunteers will receive a raffle ticket for volunteering, and you can also earn free raffle tickets by "Going Green" at this event (look for green opportunities below). Additional raffle tickets can be purchased during the Garden Project - 1 for $1, 10 for $5 and 50 for $20.

Thank you for joining us on this day of service and inspiration as we celebrate healthy communities eating healthy whole foods together!

In Health,

Leslie Graves

Marketing & Community Team Leader who's ready to get her hands dirty!
