Event Details

Calling all families and kids! Join us for a day of volunteering at City Green, a non-profit organization based in Clifton, NJ dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban farms and gardens in northern New Jersey’s cities to enrich the lives of inner city residents, while cultivating education in public health, nutrition and the environment.

This will be a community building, family focused 2 hour event with volunteer opportunities for everyone ages 2 and up! So get ready to roll up your sleeves and have some fun getting your hands dirty! The days activities will include working in the gardens at the farm - weeding, mulching, planting and painting. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Listed below is a description of the volunteer job as well as items that may be helpful to bring to the farm the on the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for team members, customers, kids and members of our communities to come together and help out a great non-profit as well as learn about City Green.

In honor of our Whole Kids Foundation, lunch will be provided to celebrate the day and coming together. Please join us for a fun filled day focused on community, food and healthy living.

Thank you!
