Calling all kids and families to join us for a fun fall volunteer project at the Ann Storck Center. The Ann Storck Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities. The Center has been symphony of humanity for the most medically fragile and vulnerable individuals in South Florida for over 50 years and helps 300 children and adults each day.
The Center strives to create an exceptional living and learning environment which discovers ability and builds independence. Our dedicated staff provides compassionate and caring services for the residents and is noted for their commitment to excellence. The Ann Storck Center continues to raise the bar and sets standards of care for others to follow. For up-to-date information, please visit www.annstorckcenter.org, www.facebook.com/AnnStorckCenter1 and on Twitter @AnnStorckCenter.
We're excited to roll up our sleeves to help beautify their campus with our partners at the Ann Storck Center. This will be a family-friendly, 2-hour project with tasks for everyone ages 3 and up! We’ll re-plant the community herb garden as well as help decorate their community store so residents and staff have a cheerful place to stop in for a snack.
Below, please find a volunteer job description and a list of items that may be helpful to bring on the day of the project. It's our goal to make your experience fun, uplifting, and kid-friendly. This is an opportunity for customers, team members, and kids to partner together in service to our community. We'll have plenty of tasks and games on-site for little ones whose attention may wander. The best part is being all together!
Also, we'll have a magical build-your-own salad-bar for kids and grown-ups, plus all the fixings. Join us in modeling the fun of "eating a rainbow" in honor of the Whole Kids Foundation! Please join us for a fun-filled day of service and inspiration as we celebrate healthy communities and healthy eating together!
Thank you again and look forward to seeing you soon!
