Whole Brain Teaching is a dynamic teaching style designed to make instruction more engaging for disruptive students and to make time for higher-level thinking by making lower-level content "stick" faster. It's a system based on fun, gestures and games, includes a management system and investment plan adaptable for pre-K thru 5th grade, and meshes very well with what you learned at Institute about effective management and rigor. Several Memphis corps members have discovered what Whole Brain Teaching has to offer, and are planning to implement it in their classrooms.
