Highlighting Best-Practices in Placed-Based Services from a network of community based organizations offering Arts and Cultural Enrichment Programs, Prenatal & Perinatal Services, Mind/Body Health &Wellness, Youth-based Urban Farming, Domestic Violence Prevention, Financial Literacy Youth Justice services and more!

Join Dempsey Center's high impact organizations offering dynamic Place-Based programs and services including Northern Manhattan Perinatal Partnership, Harlem Grown, The Laundromat Project, Harlem Wellness Center, Doing Art Together, Harlem Justice Center, Friends of Island Academy, Manhattan Staten Island Area Health Education Center with other participating neighborhood based organizations participating including Harlem Health Promotion Center-STAY, Street Corner Resources and more!

Participate in interactive panel and roundtable discussions

Co-design a neighborhood beautification project in process

Create art with your neighbors with The Laundromat Project

Eat lunch provided by WHGA

Taste local farm produce provided by Harlem Grown

West Harlem Group Assistance, Inc. is a non profit, community development corporation working throughout the Harlem area to provide affordable housing, health and human services, as well as economic and wealth building opportunities to low and moderate income residents. WHGA manages the Oberia Dempsey Multi-Service Center, which provides affordable space to Harlem-based Social Change and Social Justic eorganizations serving the Harlem area.
