AxisPhilly and NBC 10 present: "What’s Next? A Forum on Bok High's Future." We’re bringing together neighbors, leaders and experts to discuss the closing of Bok Technical High School and strategies for the future use of the building. The school is slated to be closed at the end of the 2013 school year, along with 22 additional school buildings across Philadelphia. Forum participants will engage a panel of community leaders and experts in a discussion that will be moderated by Solomon Jones of AxisPhilly and filmed by NBC 10.

WHEN: June 20th -- 6 pm

WHERE: New Hope Temple Baptist Church, 711 S. 12th St., Philadelphia

Panelists include:

Councilman Mark Squilla

David Goldfarb, East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association

Sam Sherman, Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation

Anton Moore, Unity in the Community

Larry Eichel, Pew Charitable Trusts

More neighborhood leaders and experts will be announced shortly. The forum is affiliated with SchoolhouseWatch, an online community delivering comprehensive information and providing a place for neighbors to have a voice in determining the future of each closing school building. Partner organizations include PlanPhilly and the Public School Notebook.
