This first Asia Business Forum of the new year will assess the business trends and economic prospects for Asian economies in 2013. Attendees will learn about the current economic conditions of key Asian countries and what to expect in China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia in 2013. ABF’s team of experts is engaged in Asia’s economic outlook and tracks its economic policies and recent economic developments to deliver critical insights to attendees.

Each speaker is asked to discuss the following topics:
1. How did the country perform economically in 2012? What are the contributing factors of such economic result?
2. What is the economic outlook of the country in 2013? What are the contributing factors of such outlook?
3. What are the growth areas? What is new in 2013?
4. What are risk factors that may affect the economic performance?

Asia Business Forum’s mission is to create a forum for professionals in the Greater Seattle Area, who are engaged in work related to Asia or interested in Asian economies, to share knowledge, ideas, experience and expertise.
By creating such forum, ABF intends to be a catalyst for building and sustaining the Asia-related business community and caters to the needs and interests of professionals doing Asia-related work.
In addition to Asia as a whole region, ABF mostly covers China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and India. Furthermore, we discuss not only outbound investments from the U.S. to Asia but also inbound investments from Asian countries to Washington.
ABF hosts a forum four to six times a year in Seattle and Bellevue. The forum is open and accessible to the public.
ABF is an all-volunteer, independent, politically neutral non-profit organization established in the State of Washington in 2011. ABF has established supporting relationships with 25 government, trade, business, culture and ethnic organizations and two universities in Seattle.
