Galicia Region, in collaboration with other European Regions, are organizing an Open Days Side Event on the role for macro-regions in the next financial period. This seminar aims to identify and to promote regional knowledge based on macro regional collaboration seen as an instrument to reduce fragmentation and duplication.The debate will focus on the importance of macro-regional strategies and the role of non-formal ones. It will also try to give a response to the interests that could lead a region to join or not such a framework.
